Senior National Honor Society Members who are in good standing and who are interested in holding an office need to see Mrs. Richards to get an application.  All offices require teacher recommendations and a completed application.  Applications are due no later than October 1st.

Forms for Calendar Girl Pageant are due to Mrs. Cook this Friday Sept., 10th.  Due to low response, unless there are at least 20 applicants, the pageant will be cancelled.  You may pick up forms from Mrs. Cook or the office.

Calendar Girl practice is Sunday, September 12th at 2:00 at the Elementary Auditorium. Escorts also need to attend.

Leo Club Members need at least 5 members to help at the Habitat House in Guin on Saturday Morning.  If interested please call Dr. Bryant at 487-2135.

Letterman Jacket Orders will be taken on Tues., Sept. 14th at 10:30.  $100 deposit is required when order is placed. NO LATE ORDERS WILL BE TAKEN!

We have a limited supply of 2010 Yearbooks for sale in the office, cost is $50.

All course fees need to be paid by Friday September 10th.

The girl’s Chorus will meet every Wed. afternoon from 3:15 to 4:15 in the choral room.

 VARSITY Football: Winfield vs Hamilton at Winfield, Friday Sept. 10th at 7:00.

Winfield Volleyball:  Winfield vs Cordova at Cordova TODAY at 4:30.

SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY:  Open to Juniors & Seniors.  $1000.00 Scholarship available to high school junior or senior based on overall personal integrity and character, your personal achievements, contributions to your community and school, and academic accomplishments. Deadline to submit the application and essay is October 1, 2010. See Mrs. Weeks or your English teachers for details.
